After seeing a beautiful digital layout in a magazine Patty tried to find a digital scrapbooking book or class specifically for Photoshop Elements with no luck. Without any graphic arts training herself trying to learn to digi-scrap was almost impossible and required endless hours of surfing the web. Unable to find anywhere that she could learn digital scrapbooking with Photoshop Elements she volunteered to teach a class with a friend at her local Adult Education school. Along the way Patty discovered many frustrated scrappers who loved buying the beautiful magazines with the great digital scrapbooking pages but who wanted a book that would explain exactly how to get the same results. Patty is currently teaching Digital & Hybrid Scrapbooking & Card-Making classes at community colleges in Southern California. In her spare time she enjoys creating hybrid scrapbooks and cards for her family and friends because she loves the ease of digital scrapbooking and the ?lumpy bumpy? extras that traditional embellishments add to her cards and scrapbooks.
